- 01How much does it cost to list my business on The Khoji?
- Listing is free. Claiming an existing listing is free. Accepting bookings is free. Replying to reviews is free. Paid features may arrive once the platform has the volume to justify them, but the core listing experience is and will remain free.
- 02How long does it take to get my listing live?
- Adding a listing takes about five minutes. We review every new submission to make sure it represents a real business; most listings go live within 24 hours. You can edit, upload photos, set up bookings, and reply to reviews as soon as it's approved.
- 03How do customers find my business on The Khoji?
- Customers find your business through search, category pages, city pages (such as Local businesses in Kathmandu), the Near You section on the homepage, and the Trending list. Verified listings with photos, complete details, working booking, and good reviews surface higher in all of these.
- 04Can I edit my listing after it's published?
- Yes. Once you've claimed ownership, you can edit your business name, description, contact details, hours, address, photos, services, staff, and booking settings any time from your owner dashboard.
- 05Do I have to accept every booking request?
- No. For service requests (electricians, plumbers, and similar) you have up to four hours to accept or decline. For appointments and reservations you set your own availability and capacity. You can block dates, set lead time, and define cancellation policies.
- 06How do reviews work? Can I remove negative ones?
- Reviews are written by real customers. You cannot edit or remove a customer review, but you can reply publicly to any review on your listing. Reviews flagged as fake or abusive are reviewed by our moderation team and may be taken down if they violate our content policy.
- 07What types of businesses can list on The Khoji?
- Any local business operating in Nepal: restaurants, cafes, bakeries, salons, spas, clinics, dentists, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, photographers, gyms, schools, repair shops, and more. If you serve real customers from a real address (or via dispatch), you belong on The Khoji.
- 08How do deposits and payments work?
- Customers pay deposits at booking time via Khalti or eSewa; the funds land in your linked account. You set the deposit amount per service (or 0 for cash on arrival). For service requests, payment is usually after the visit, in cash or directly to your wallet. The Khoji never holds your money.
